The AeroPress, the brainchild of Alan Adler, makes the perfect travel companion. I remember my first encounter with an AeroPress a few years ago at the New York Coffee Festival. A young coffee aficionado was preparing his morning brew with this portable, plastic, syringe looking gadget. Within minutes he made me a cup of coffee that was so smooth and rich. Since then my lightweight, robust, quick and easy to clean AeroPress is my favourite travel companion.
