Our Single Origin Congo beans are ethically sourced, medium roasted beans grown in South Kivu. They give off a flowery aroma with vibrant acidity and end with a rich, fruity flavor that lingers in the finish.
The Democratic Republic of Congo [DRC] is one of Africa's richest countries in terms of natural resources, yet one of the continents poorest. It lacks stability and infrastructure due to years of civil wars. It is hopeful that as the coffee industry develops and blossoms into the thriving industry it once was, the lives of many farmers and their families will improve.
